A point-to-point ride is a single reserved trip from one address to another: a hotel to a restaurant, an office at The Domain to a meeting downtown, a home in Round Rock to a dinner on South Congress. You book the pickup time, the vehicle class and the drop-off, and the ride ends when you arrive. There is no hourly block and no three-hour minimum.
New York dispatch arranges each trip through vetted local affiliate operators, the same way it arranges airport transfers and hourly charters. The vehicle class, pickup time and meeting point come from the confirmation, and the chauffeur's details follow once the assigned operator is set.
How pricing works for one-way trips
Every point-to-point trip requires an itinerary quote, because distance, time of day, stops and tolls all change the fare. Two floors apply: a business sedan trip starts at $130 and an SUV trip at $160. Those are minimums, not route fares, and a longer drive quotes higher. The written quote states what the fare includes.
If the day has more than one leg, compare the options. Two separate transfers suit a morning drop and an evening pickup with hours in between. When the stops are close together, hourly service at $120 per hour for the sedan, with a three-hour minimum, can be simpler because the car stays with you.

Getting the pickup right
Give the exact address and, for large buildings, the entrance or tower. Hotels on Congress Avenue and in the Second Street District often have a covered entrance or side door that suits private cars better than the front curb. Residential pickups in West Lake Hills may need a gate code. On South Congress, Rainey Street and East Sixth, legal loading spots are limited on busy nights, so agree on a corner in advance.
Extra stops need a revised quote. Add them when you book rather than asking the chauffeur to fit them in on the way. For a trip across the metro at rush hour, MoPac, IH-35 and US-183 set the pace, with the heaviest delays between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.; pick a pickup time with that in mind.
