What Is Hourly Charter?

Hourly charter gives you a dedicated vehicle and driver for a reserved block of time. New York dispatch arranges each ride through vetted local affiliate operators in Austin. You choose the pickup location, route, and stops, and the driver remains with you for the reserved hours. This service works well for dinner outings, bar hops, real estate tours, wedding parties, and flexible business schedules. We offer sedans, SUVs, and Sprinters for hourly charter. Core classes have a three-hour minimum.

Who Uses This Service in Austin

Groups dining on South Congress or Rainey Street book sedans and SUVs for a night out without parking hassles. Rainey Street is known for converted bungalow bars clustered just east of downtown. Wedding parties use hourly charter to move between hotels, ceremony sites, and reception venues. Real estate agents take clients through Tarrytown, West Lake Hills, and East Austin in a single afternoon. Film crews and production teams use Sprinter vans for equipment and talent moves. Visitors book hourly service to combine shopping at The Domain with dinner downtown. Corporate clients use hourly charter for candidate interviews that require multiple office visits. During festival season, brand teams use hourly charter to hit multiple SXSW or ACL events in one day at current addresses.

How Hourly Charter Pricing Works

Business Sedan: estimated ~$120/hour; 3-hour minimum estimate ~$360. First Class SUV: estimated ~$150/hour; 3-hour minimum estimate ~$440. Mercedes S-Class: estimated ~$230/hour; 3-hour minimum estimate ~$690. Sprinter Van: estimated ~$240/hour; 3-hour minimum estimate ~$710. Hourly estimates include configured gratuity, tax/surcharge, and card-fee adjustments. Confirm vehicle, passenger and luggage counts, stops, pickup timing, fees, and terms in the written quote. Adding a stop to a transfer is not an automatic hourly conversion; compare a revised transfer quote with retained hourly service.

An Honest Limitation

Hourly charter covers the vehicle and driver for the reserved block. Venue parking, if charged, is confirmed in the quote. Some narrow streets on Rainey Street and Dirty Sixth can make curbside loading difficult on busy nights. We also cannot hold a vehicle indefinitely at a single stop; the driver must remain with the car in a legal spot or circle the block.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum number of hours for hourly charter?

Sedans, SUVs, S-Class sedans, and Sprinter vans have a three-hour minimum. Larger coordinated groups require an itinerary quote.

Can I make multiple stops during my charter?

Yes. You control the itinerary within the reserved time block. Mileage or time beyond what the quote covers needs a revision.

Is gratuity included in the hourly rate?

Hourly estimates include the configured gratuity, tax/surcharge, and card-fee adjustments. Confirm the final total and inclusions in the written quote.
