How to choose a vehicle class

Start with people and bags, not with the photograph. The business sedan class, shown here as the Mercedes E-Class, suits one to three passengers with standard luggage and is estimated at $120 per hour on hourly service. The S-Class carries the same number of passengers in a higher class, starting at $230 per hour.

The SUV class, shown as the Cadillac Escalade, carries up to six passengers with luggage at $150 per hour. The Sprinter plans for up to 12 passengers and 12 bags, starting at $240 per hour. The booking form confirms the final price for S-Class and Sprinter. All hourly service has a three-hour minimum, and one-way transfers are quoted from the itinerary with floors of $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV.

If you are unsure between two classes, book the larger one. Golf bags, strollers and oversized cases take more room than the passenger count suggests, and a vehicle that is too small cannot be fixed at the curb.
