What Is Medical Center Transportation?

Our medical center transportation service provides scheduled non-emergency rides to Austin hospitals, clinics, and medical offices. New York dispatch arranges each ride through vetted local affiliate operators. We serve patients, family members, visiting specialists, and caregivers who need private transport. Sedans and SUVs are the most common choices. This is ordinary chauffeur service, not licensed medical transport.

Who Uses This Service in Austin

Out-of-town patients travel to Dell Seton Medical Center and the Dell Medical School for appointments. Dell Seton is the teaching hospital for the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. Families visit patients at St. David's Medical Center, Ascension Seton, and other specialty clinics. Oncology patients attend appointments at infusion clinics. Orthopedic patients use the service after procedures when they should not drive; confirm any required companion or escort with the care provider. Elderly residents of Tarrytown and West Lake Hills use the service for specialist visits. Visiting physicians and medical sales representatives book transport between hospital campuses and hotels. Healthcare conferences use current venue addresses; do not assume a Convention Center curb while that building is closed for redevelopment.

How Medical Center Transportation Pricing Works

Itinerary quote required. Confirm vehicle, passenger and luggage counts, stops, pickup timing, fees, and terms in the written quote. Waiting during an appointment is a revised itinerary or retained hourly service, not an automatic conversion.

An Honest Limitation

We are not an ambulance or licensed medical transport provider. Drivers do not provide clinical care, supervision, stretchers, oxygen, or other medical equipment. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles may be requested and are used only when that assignment is confirmed. Travelers must confirm any escort or assistance requirements with their care provider and arrange a companion when needed; a chauffeur does not substitute for a required post-procedure escort. Patients who need medical monitoring during transit should use a licensed medical transport provider. Driver wait time in hospital loading zones can be restricted, so we coordinate pickup calls in advance. We also cannot enter hospital patient rooms, so pickup and drop-off occur at designated entrances.
